33. (Purchases of own debentures/Journal) A company purchased as investment 500 10% Debentures of Rs. 100 each at Rs. 98 on 1 April 2015. Interest is payable annually on 31 March. These debentures were cancelled on 31 March, 2016. Pass entries.
