Labeling refers to the specific information about a product which makes the product unique from other products. It also has warnings on it. Which tells about the usage, expiry date, advantages and many more things.
Meaning of Labeling:
Labeling is an vital part of the brand of the product and the company which helps the product show up in the market. It also helps to snatch the attention of a customer. This is used by company to encourage potential buyers to purchase the product.
A person can easily find out the ingredients used in the product. This helps to broaden awareness among the customers about the item they are consuming.
A company’s label required to attach the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. According to The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), packaged and processed food must be nutritional labelling.

“The activities of designing and producing the container or wrapper for a product.”… “Labelling is part of packing and consists of printed information that describes the product, appearing on or with the package”

Examples of lebeling:
There are some important examples which helps you to understand the concept of labeling easily. So lets start:
EX.1:
The information is mentioned on the (label) or piece of paper pasted usually on the product’s back side is known as lebeling. It includes:
- Serving Size: How much is considered a single serving of the product.
- Total Calories: This number ties right in to the serving size.
- Fats – Saturated and Trans.
- Total Carbohydrates – Fiber and Sugar.
- Protein.
- Vitamins and Other Nutrients.
EX.2:
An example of a labeling is a piece of fabric sewn or attached on the top side of the pant, giving the size, what the pant is made of and (where the pant was made: we are usually see: made in china, made in U.K., made in India etc) These are the types of lebelling which gives the clearification about the details of the product.

EX.3:
labeling is a piece of paper or a printing on the product’s pack which includes the full detail about the product. For example: On the Refrigerator’s back side one printed paper is attached with full information about the brand (SAMSUNG, LG, WIRLPOOL etc), how much electricity is consumed by this refrigerator, is it working on invertor, how much space is available inside the refrigerator and is it having the facility of making curd ?, When it is manufacture etc, so these all mentioned things tells about the labeling of the product.
