(i) The total of the Sales Book has not been posted to the Sales Account

The total of the Sale Book has not been posted to the sale Account will affect the Trial balance because the total balance of the Sale account will be undercast

(ii) 1,000 paid as installation charges of a new machine has been debited to Repairs Account.

The entry will have no effect on trial balance because Debit amount has been already Debited to the Trail Balance but with the wrong account it has been debited to Repair account instead of Machinery account

(iii) Goods costing 4,000 taken by the proprietor for personal use have been debited to Debtors’ Account.

The entry will have no effect on trial balance because Debit amount has been already Debited to the Trail Balance but with the wrong account it has been debited to Debtors’ account instead of Drawing account
