Current ratio 2.5:1 working capital is ₹ 60,000. Calculate the amount of current assets and current liabilities.

The solution of Question 13 Chapter 7 – Unimax Publication Class 12 Part 2-2021 : –

Current Ratio = = Current Assets    
  Current Liabilities  
  2 : 5 = Current assets    
  1 Current liabilities  
Let current assets = 2.5x
Current liabilities = 1x
Working capital Current assets – current liabilities
60,000 = 2.5x – x
60,000 = 1.5x
  = 60,000 = ₹ 40,000
x 1.5
Current liabilities = x = ₹ 40,000
Current assets =2.5x =2.5 x 40,000
  = ₹ 1,00,000 Ans.
