Mar.5 | Purchased a typewriter for ₹5,000 and spent ₹1,000 on its repairs. |
Mar.6 | Bought goods by cheque ₹10,000. |
Mar.7 | Transferred from current account to fixed deposit account in bank ₹10,000. |
Mar.8 | Sold goods for cash ₹40,000 and cheque ₹20,000. |
Mar.9 | Paid petty cash expenses of ₹500 |
Mar.11 | Deposited the above cheque into the bank. |
Mar.13 | Purchases goods from Sunit for ₹20,000 |
Mar.15 | Sent a cheque in payment of the fees of proprietor’s daughter ₹1,000 |
Mar.18 | Cash sales received a cheque of ₹ 5,000 |
Mar.19 | Settled Sunita account by cheque ₹19,000 |
Mar.20 | Deposited the above cheque into the bank, collection charges ₹50 |
Mar.24 | Paid Salary ₹4,000 |
Mar.26 | Bank charges ₹20 |
Mar.27 | Goods worth ₹ 10,000 were purchased from Siya Ram. Its payment was made by cheque after a 5% cash discount. |
Mar.31 | Repaid the loan taken from Mr Kumar including interest @ 18%. |
