If you sat the PSEB Class 12 supplementary examination in July 2026 and your marks in accountancy, business studies or economics do not look right, the window to do something about it closes on 21 September 2026. That is the date printed on the board's own application portal, which states: "Last Date to Fill the Form For Matriculation / Sr. Secondary is 21-09-2026".
PSEB put two items on its homepage on 7 September 2026. One is a press note headed "Press note regarding re-checking/re-evaluation forms for the July 2026 supplementary examinations". The other is a direct link to the application portal, listed as "Rechecking/Re-evaluation form of Matriculation/Sr. Secondary Examination, July 2026". Both carry the same date.
One honest caveat before you read further: the press note PDF on the PSEB server is a scanned image with no readable text, so we could not read the notification body ourselves. The 21 September date comes from the board's live portal, which we did open. Everything else below is marked according to where it came from.
| Event | Date | Source |
|---|---|---|
| PSEB notice and portal link published | 7 September 2026 | PSEB homepage listing |
| Last date to submit the form | 21 September 2026 | PSEB application portal notice board |
| Class 12 supplementary result declared | 25 August 2026 | Reported by FreeJobAlert and FindMyCollege |
| Class 10 supplementary result link posted | 28 August 2026 | PSEB homepage listing |
Students mix these up every year, and the difference decides whether you are taking a risk or not.
That last point deserves weight. Apply for re-evaluation because you have a specific reason to think a question was marked wrongly, not because the number disappointed you.
Education news sites reporting on this notice add that only theory papers are eligible for re-evaluation and that practical marks are excluded. We could not verify that against the PSEB notification itself, so treat it as reported rather than confirmed, and read the fee and eligibility screen carefully during the application.
If you are stuck, the portal lists helplines: 0172-5227303, 5227339 and 5227340 for re-checking, and 0172-5227322, 5227325 and 5227326 for re-evaluation. Technical support is on 8058911911.
We are not going to publish a fee we have not verified. Search results circulate figures for PSEB re-checking and re-evaluation, but we could not open an official page stating the fee for this July 2026 supplementary window specifically. The correct amount will be displayed on the payment screen inside the portal. Check it there.
The timeline for the revised result after re-evaluation has also not been announced as far as we can tell.
Here is the part nobody says out loud. Most supplementary marks in accountancy are not lost to a marking error. They are lost in the same three or four places every year: the adjustment entries in partnership accounts, the treatment of goodwill on admission and retirement, and the format of financial statements. Re-checking will not fix that. Practice will.
So while your form is in, use the fortnight. If your weak paper was accountancy, work through the chapter you dropped marks in on our Class 12 financial accounting solutions, and match the questions to your own book from the book solutions index rather than a generic question bank. For business studies and economics, the Class 12 business studies and Class 12 economics sections cover the same chapters your paper drew from. Then test yourself in the practice section under time, because the supplementary paper punishes slow working more than it punishes weak theory.
Apply if you have a reason. Then go back to the chapter that cost you the marks.
