Operating expenses 70,000
Sales 10,90,000
Sales return 90,000

The solution of Question 46 Chapter 7 – Unimax Publication Class 12 Part 2-2021 : –

Operating ratio

= Operating cost X 100
Net Sales

 

 

 

Operating cost = C.O.G.S + Operating Expenses
  = 7,20,000 +70,000
  = ₹7,90,000
Net Sales = Sales -Sales Return
  = 10,90,000 -90,000
  = ₹10,00,000

Operating ratio

= 7,90,000 x 100
10,00,000

 

 

 

  = 79 % Ans.
