Calculation of Cost of Goods Sold
| Cost of goods sold | = | Opening stock + Net purchased + Direct expenses – Closing stock |
| = | 10,000 + 30,000 + 2,500 + 500 – 15,000 | |
| = | Rs 28,000 |
