Rectification Before the preparation of the trial balance
04. Rectify the following errors which are detected before preparing the trial balance:
- Sales books are undercast by Rs 1,200
- Purchases book is overcast by Rs 800
- Bills receivable book was undercast by Rs 100
- Bills payable book was undercast by Rs 650
- Return inwards book was overcast by RS 1,800
- Return outward book was undercast by Rs 2,100
- Sale book is overcast by Rs 350
The solution of Question No 04 Chapter No 16:-
| (a) | Sale account should be credited now by Rs 1,200 |
| (b) | Purchases account should be credit now Rs 800 |
| (c) | Bill receivable account should be credit by Rs 100 |
| (d) | Bill payable account should be credited by Rs 650 |
| (e) | Return inward account should be credit with Rs 1,800 |
| (f) | Return outward account should be credited with Rs 2,100 |
| (g) | Sales account should be debited with Rs 350 |
